One Dot Printing Solutions: Keita Charles

Born in 1978 to two hardworking Trinidadian parents who loved their culture and instilled values of ambition, faith, family, and living within one’s means, the stage was set for Keita Charles to be a leader. 

As a child, he always expressed interest in business. First, he started selling candy in school. Then he sold clothes, music, cars, houses and eventually signs. He was always selling something. He continued his education and graduated from Morehouse College with a B.S. in Marketing in 2001. He has had several jobs since graduation but has always wanted to become an entrepreneur. He worked as a Steamfitter from 2012, while simultaneously utilizing his marketing skills to create a website informing his co-workers about events or news occurring in the industry. He also was able to design t-shirts and sweatshirts for purchase. In addition to Steamfitting, he worked as a real estate agent and again proved that he could market himself to be the very “best”. He earned the title of the third highest ranking transaction agent in his office. 

He continues to exercise his creative niche by designing print media, such as t-shirts, calendars, and blankets for family members and friends. While multi-tasking continues to be part of his life, Keita continues to stay grounded by enjoying photography, music and is a proud father of two young girls.
